AT - LavinceLara - A Gentle Breeze

EDIT 9.6.2014: Added the watermark, tried to adjust the colours again.


This is my part of the art trade with LavinceLara (her part: lavincelara.deviantart.com/art… ). It's her character/fursona Starshine as a dragon. A wonderful design I must say, blue and brown look great together n u n
Now it was a great work, but I'm rather satisfied with the results. I even tried the salt trick, which Gee355 mentioned, on the BG (it looks like small stars on the darker areas).

Given a chance of picking whatever character I wanted wasn't actually easy; there were many wonderful designs I'd like to draw someday (at first I was thinking Psycho for his horns lavincelara.deviantart.com/art… as well as Exe lavincelara.deviantart.com/art… and Drea lavincelara.deviantart.com/art…, yet I like the colours of Mahuma lavincelara.deviantart.com/art… so you can see how I was torn apart when I ad to make the choise

The fun fact of the day: My original sketch for this was sized A4, yet the finished piece is A3 (double the size larger). Why?
I loved the sketch so much that it had to get more space
