Hi everybody! How has your year started? (mine has been okay so far c: )

Thank you for all the feedback lately guys. I have 13 stacks of comments and 80+ replies (some are oooold though). I've read them all but replying takes some time (because I'm mainly on mobile and writing is a pain =__=; )

Uni lectures started again on Wednesday. This period doesn't look so bad than the previous ones; I have six courses, and five out of them are biology, the last is biochemistry. I actually should have fun with the species demostration lectures where we go through specimens while the teacher tells about the main features
If you've noticed, most of the uploaded art so far has been from December 2014. I got a bunch of art done over the christmas holiday and scheduled them  Hopefully there will be new art too c:

I'm also keeping commissions open for the time being. If my free time becomes scarce I'll close or restrict them though.

I work with traditional and digital mediums. You can request different options than listed in here if you're interested.
Why watercolours?
- They're faster, soft shading and gradients are easier, thus they're cheaper.
- Due the painting methods I can't recommend these for highly detailed characters.
- Then again if your character contains gradients this method is highly recommended.
Why markers?
- Since drawing with pens is my forte, smaller details can be added (scales, intricate jewels etc.)
- I have relatively good collection of different shades.
- Colouring takes longer and the markers wear off (higher material costs), thus making these more expensive.
Why digital?
- No material costs, thus they're cheaper
- Even complex markings are easy to replicate, no problems with gradients and things like that
